Job Description:

Uptown Square a prestigious group of restaurants, seeks to recruit Waiter – Waitress for the season 2022. The predetermined period is between 15th of April to 15th of October.  At the end of the season a permanent employment will be considered from the company.

Responsibilities:

  • Welcomes customers when they arrive at the restaurant.
  • Present menu and provide detailed information when asked (e.g., about portions, ingredients or potential food allergies)
  • Prepare tables by setting up linens, silverware and glasses
  • Offer menu recommendations upon request
  • Up-sell additional products when appropriate
  • Communicate order details to the Kitchen Staff using POS system.
  • Check dishes and kitchenware for cleanliness and presentation and report any problems
  • Follow all relevant health department regulations
  • Provide excellent customer service to guests
  • Τake care of his/her presence to follow hygienic standards every day.

Candidate Profile & Qualifications:

  • Command of English both written and verbal. Russian and Greek Language will be considered as advantage.
  • Proven work experience as a Waiter or Waitress in a restaurant or hotel.
  • Flexibility to work in shifts.
  • Enthusiasm, professionalism and continuous development in an ever-growing team.
  • Ability to provide high-quality services in a professional work environment.
  • Wine knowledge will be considered as a plus.
